Tasks that actually do what you think

Dægwork makes a clear distinction between hierarchy and sequencing. Sub-tasks break a task into parts for clarity — they don't block the parent. Dependencies are explicit must-finish-before relationships between any two tasks. A task with incomplete, visible dependencies shows as blocked.

These are different concepts. Most task managers conflate them. Dægwork doesn't.

Every task has a title, an optional Markdown description, a status, a priority, an optional due date, zero or more categories and labels, and zero or more attachments — images, documents, or web links.

A guided creation flow surfaces only the relevant fields based on what you're adding: a quick to-do, a web link, a document reminder, or the full set.

Switch between an Agenda view (tasks grouped by due date) and a Board view (kanban lanes from your own configurable statuses) with a single click on the same screen. Both share the same filter sidebar with smart filters for overdue, due today, blocked, and more.

Drag a card to a different status (Board) or date bucket (Agenda) to reschedule without opening it.

Every task has exactly one owner. Share it with another user or a group, at read or manage level. The recipient sees only what you share — not the task's unshared dependencies, not its unshared parent, not anything else in your account.

Organise tasks with a hierarchical category tree and labels. Categories carry a picked icon and colour — visible on every task card. Users have an avatar (icon and colour) shown on shared tasks. Configure categories and labels in Settings.

Dægwork is installable as a PWA on desktop (Chrome, Edge) and mobile (iOS/iPadOS Safari, Android Chrome). Add to home screen for a native-feeling experience on every device.
